Plumbing Installation & Rough-In
Complete plumbing systems for new builds, additions, and remodels. Done right behind the walls, where it counts.
Plumbing That's Right Before the Drywall Goes Up
Rough-in is the plumbing you never see — supply lines, drains, vents, and stub-outs installed before walls close up. It’s also where cut corners hide. A bad rough-in means leaks inside walls, drains that gurgle, and a failed inspection that stalls your whole build. Our licensed plumbers run rough-in for new construction, additions, and remodels across Poplar Bluff and Southeast Missouri — sized right, sloped right, and ready to pass inspection the first time. And because we’re a full-service general contractor, plumbing coordinates with framing, electrical, and HVAC instead of fighting them.
One Contractor From Slab to Fixtures
Most builds juggle a plumber, framer, electrician, and HVAC crew who’ve never met. When trades don’t talk, you get drilled joists, rerouted lines, and change orders. One Call runs them all under one roof — the plumbing plan is coordinated with the rest of the build from day one. We handle under-slab plumbing, water and gas supply lines, drain-waste-vent systems, water heater connections, and final fixture installation, whether it’s one bathroom or a full custom home.
How It Works

- Under-slab and in-wall supply lines (PEX and copper)

PLUMBING ROUGH-IN QUESTIONS
Under-slab plumbing goes in before concrete is poured; wall rough-in happens after framing, alongside electrical and HVAC, before insulation and drywall. Both stages get inspected before they’re covered — which is exactly why they have to be right.
Rough-in is everything hidden — supply lines, drains, vents, and stub-outs inside walls and under floors. Finish (trim-out) comes after drywall: setting fixtures, connecting appliances, and testing everything under pressure. We handle both ends of the job.
Both are code-approved and both have a place. PEX installs faster, resists freeze damage better, and costs less; copper has a longer track record and handles some conditions better. We’ll recommend based on your build and water, not on what’s on the truck.
On our jobs, it doesn’t tend to — we pressure-test and check our own work before the inspector arrives. But that question is exactly why rough-in matters: a failed inspection after drywall means tearing out finished walls. Done right, you see it pass before it disappears.
Yes — remodels are the ideal time, since walls are already open. Older Poplar Bluff homes still carrying galvanized supply lines get modern PEX or copper, and we can fix decades of piecemeal repairs while we’re in there.
